The journey so far........ April 2012: Stop the Violence: pilot training at Our Cabana, Mexico
Voices against violence curriculum - Pilot • After Our Cabana training – NGGA developed an action plan • May 2012: Briefing with Chief commissioner • Communication to Deputy Chief Commissioners of all zones notifying them of the pilot and NGGA’s Child Protection Policy • Appointment of zonal trainers and state representatives for the curriculum.
Voices against violence curriculum - Pilot June 2012: Meeting of national training team to produce NGGA Child Protection Policy Based on: - Nigeria Child Rights Act - WAGGGS Guidelines on Child Protection Policy formation
Voices against violence curriculum - Pilot July 2012: • Workshops on Stop the Violence for NGGA National and Zonal Training team • Advocacy action of the curriculum at the national training camp in Ebonyi state
