Consider Christ: The Apostle and High Priest of Our Confession

In Hebrews 2:10-3:6, we are called to deeply contemplate Jesus Christ, the Heir of all things and the radiance of God's glory. He is the very image of God, upholding the cosmos and purging our sins as the omnipotent ruler at God’s right hand. We are reminded of His role as our High Priest, officiating in the heavenly temple and calling us into family with God. Let us not merely recite, but fervently worship Him as we recognize His superiority over prophets, angels, and even the lawgivers. Engage with this revelation and embrace our heavenly calling.

  4. Consider Him With Fervor • In Our Midst • From on High • Speaking

  10. Consider Christ Who Speaks So much better than: • Prophets (1:1-3) • Angels (1:4-2:18) • Moses, the lawgiver (3:1-19) • Joshua, rest giver (4:1-13) • Aaron, the high priest (4:14-10:18)

  11. Christ , Who purged my sins, is in His Temple, therefore: The LORD is in His holy temple, let all the earth keep silence before Him Habakkuk 2:20

  12. The Christ is the “I AM”, Who purged my sins, Who is in His Temple, Therefore: Lord, take control.

  13. Therefore, holy brethren, who share in the heavenly call, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession Hebrews 3:2
