  3. The Rainy Day If I go to the zoo I always bring a raincoat just in case it rains and the rain sometimes feels funny. It started as a drop on my head and it started to rain. I couldn’t go home. I hid on a giraffe but the giraffe floated away. So did the car. The rain started to stop and then the flood went down the drain and then I jumped off the giraffe. The car came down to the concrete. The city cheered because the flood went down the drain. By Joe The Rain It started with a drop and then another and another. Soon there was a flood. I asked Mum if I could go on the computer and she said yes. But the computer wasn’t working. One of the games wasn’t loading. The computer turned itself off. When it stopped raining I went outside to play. I put my boots on to splash in puddles. By Eliott

  4. The Rain One rain plop falls on my head and I see it fall on my face. I was in the house reading my book about rain. My book got wet because the rain came down and the roof got wet near the window. One plop came down and fell down and the floor got wet. Then it started to rain and I put my coat on and I put my hoodie on and a flood is in my house. By Joshua The Rain One day it was pouring and a storm came to my home when I was playing outside. I ran inside. But I was wet. The rain was banging on the roof. The rain started with one drop then a flood came. My Dad was lost at sea. He rang the plane station to pick him up. By Felix

  5. Rain One day a girl named Julie and her uncle JJ went fishing. It went pop, it got cold and cold and COLD!!! “Uncle Uncle I’m absolutely very, very, very cold.” said Julie. “Me too.” he said. It is raining there. But before they got in the car it was too late. They floated away. They got wet. They got a piece of wood and wrote SOS. A Westpac helicopter saw it. They got home. The end. By Samantha The Rain One raining day I thought it was going to flood and it rained. I was playing outside and I put my gumboots on and my coat too. I got very wet when I was playing outside and Levi was inside. I was playing outside to feel the rain and Mum said to come inside and I asked my Mum if I could go on the computer and she said yes.   6. The Rain Once upon a time the rain started with one drop and another and then it started raining boulders and a man came with umbrellas. One man was very unreasonable and said “give me one of those umbrellas’ and he ran away. I ran inside to get a hot chocolate. My fishpond was overflowing. Then it got harder and harder until there was a hailstone storm and then there was a flood and I lost two of my fish. My Dad was still at work and his work office cracked open. We had to call an emergency helicopter. It picked up my Dad and took him home except the house was floating away and it was heading for Crocodile Lake! But we bought a new house! If it happened again our house would sink because it is a brick house! By Vaughan

  7. Rain One day it started to rain and it didn’t stop! I was at home with Nikita and my mum but my dad was at work. It sounded like it was slapping the roof. I got bored and so did Nikita so I asked Mum to go on the computer. Soon there was a phone call and it was from my dad. He was calling because when he was working, his building was floating away but he was close to the top so all the other people had to run up all the stairs to get to the top. We had an airplane in our garage so we went into the garage and hopped into the airplane and we were off with a flash. It was very, very loud. We were there in no time. There were lots of buildings floating away but Mum knew what his building looked like so we found his building and rescued all the people in it. Then we took all the people home. When we got home the rain stopped and the sun came up and I went outside and played on the trampoline. Nikita came out too. By Gemma
