  2. Big Ideas • Can be found on the second page of each teacher manual. • Purpose • To guide instruction • CIA Enduring Understanding • Essential Questions • Differentiate Instruction

  3. Problem of the Day • One Problem of the Day for each lesson. • Review word problem from the previous day’s lesson • Can be found in the plastic sleeve and in the teacher manual.

  4. Daily Spiral Review • Used to review the content previously taught or mastered. • There is a daily spiral review for each lesson. • Can be found in the plastic sleeve and the teacher manual above the problem of the day.

  5. Interactive Learning • The first part of the lesson • Duration 10-15 minutes • Purpose • Activate prior knowledge • Real world connections • Introduce concept

  6. Animation Video • Load and watch at each group

  7. Guided Practice • Guide students through examples • Check for understanding before independent practice • K-2 has student work mats • 3-5 has guided practice in the textbook

  8. Quick Check • There is a quick check for each lesson • Purpose • To check for understanding • Can be found in the sleeve and the teacher manual • There is a guide in the teacher manual to rate the students responses

  9. Games • There are games for each lesson • Based on the quick check responses you will assign each student/group a game to review the skills they mastered • Can be found in the front of the plastic sleeve

  10. Leveled Homework • There is leveled homework for each lesson. • Can be found at the end of every lesson • Purpose • To differentiate homework • 3 levels
