  3. Our vision

  4. 1. To create a new reality for the elderly, sick and the poor in Haifa in which they will enjoy free transportation to hospitals for receiving medical care. • 2. To strengthen the basis for better relationships between the various communities in Haifa – Arabs, Jews, Druze

  5. Our Mission

  8. In our organization, we are men and women, elders and youngsters, Jews and Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Jews and Druze… working together as one hand, in order to help all levels of society, especially those who can't help themselves…

  9. Co-existence & Our project

  10. Co-existence between the different layers of the society, has been always the main issue of pride in Haifa. • There are almost 283000 people who chose Haifa to be their beloved home. From them almost 13% non-Jew. • Haifa has been always a model for co-existence between Arabs & Jews. they are neighbors, friends, co-workers, and even we can say brothers.

  11. Why do we need this project?????

  12. As many statistics have shown, poverty in Israel is growing, the number of families living below poverty line is only growing … and this makes our work, our organization, more and more urgently needed in our community…

  13. Access to Health Care • 1. The gloomy situation of a relatively large section of Haifa’s population creates a threat to the capability of the system to provide basic medical care. • 2. One of the main reasons is the fact that many simply cannot afford the ambulance transportation to hospitals .

  14. The system and program

  15. This ambulance will operate and be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long. • It will move ill people to and from hospitals. • That is our place in the picture: we provide the ambulance, with all its equipment; we pay its expenses, so poor people get medical care for FREE…
