Improved arrangement for PID verification 1) The application form for STW for beneficiary will have two additional information columns (Column 5 & 6) in Assamese language (ANNEXURE I-STW Application Form) pertaining to environmental sensitivity of the proposed STW site as follows:- 5.Whether the proposed site for STW falls inside any National Park/Wildlife Sanctuary/Reserved Forest/Proposed Reserved forest? Yes/No. 6.Whether the site is inside any Forest Village? Yes/No. (If Yes, please attach Certificate by the concerned DFO as per ANNEXURE II). 2)STW proposal will be rejected in the preliminary screening by Selection Committee if the proposed site is inside the above-mentioned sensitive areas except within Forest Villages based on information provided by the beneficiary.
Contd … 3)After provisional selection, the Selection Committee will send a copy of the selected STWs with location details to DETO. 4) The DETO will inspect each STW site to verify the veracity of information provided in application by beneficiary pertaining to sensitive areas. In case the STW falls within the specified areas, he will immediately report to the DAO, who in turn, will drop the proposed activity site. The DETO will be intimated in advance regarding the date of joint verification so as to ensure that the individual inspection by him is done prior to final sanction by the Bank. 5) The DETO will compile all his physical verification reports and send a consolidated report to the State ETO with a copy to EMU in the format as shown in ANNEXURE III. 6) The State ETO and EMU will carry out physical verification of STW sites as per the percentage target fixed for them on the basis of the above reports.
