  2. This course is required by NY State prior to scheduling a road test appointment. What to bring: New York Learners Permit $65.00 *New DMV Rule – Only the Permit Card with the picture can be accepted at 5-hour class. Please wait for permit card to come in the mail before taking the class* Two ways to register: Register online below Call 914-949-0419 When you arrive for your road test, you must bring the Pre- licensing Course Completion Certificate (MV-278) and your learner permit. If you have a junior learner permit (age 16 or 17) you must also bring a completed Certification of 50 Hours of Supervised Driving (MV-262)
