App Implementation One Spring Branch ISD iTunes account in order to maintain ownership of Apps One central Program Manager Program Facilitator for each campus or department (50+) Program Facilitator uses Casper to distribute App codes to devices End user (teacher) redeems under a single SBISD iTunes account

App Implementation Challenges In order to maintain “ownership” of Apps, the App codes must be redeem under an Spring Branch ISD iTunes Account If App code is redeem under a personal account, there is no way to regain ownership Program facilitators will need to learn minor system administration in Casper For mass distribution, smart groups are not easily created 50+ accounts to look for information (App codes) When App is pushed, defaults to iTunes account that is currently signed in (iOS5) When App code is scoped to device through Self Service, teacher must remember to use Spring Branch ISD iTunes Account (iOS4 or iOS5)

Under VPP Apps must be purchased for each device, at a discounted price Under normal App store purchase, can have an App on up to 10 devices
