  4. Excellent Food! • Hillsborough is filled with tons of different eating options. It ranges from fancy restaurants to laid back community oriented eateries. That is one of the golden things about Hillsborough. The fact that many local restaurants support the community so much. Such local restaurants include: Angelo’s Pizzeria, Just Subs, Catered Affairs, Bagel Bop, The HiIllsborough Diner, Old Man Referty’s, Petrocks, Pheasants Landing, and much more. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=catered+affair+hillsborough+nj&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&sa=X&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1280&bih=887&tbm=isch&tbnid=KRaabJDXfc5fYM:& http://www.google.com/imgres?q=petrocks+hillsborough+nj&num=10&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1280&bih=887&tbm=isch&tbnid http://www.google.com/imgres?q=the+hillsborough+star+diner&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1280&bih=887&tbm=isch&tbnid=NmsSkN26

  6. School System • Due to the large amount of people living in Hillsborough the school system is very broken up. The system is as follows: • Elementary Schools: • Amsterdam • Hillsborough • Sunnymead • Triangle • Woodfern • Woods Road • Intermediate School: • Auten Road • Middle School • Hillsborough Middle School • High School: • Hillsborough High http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://wiki-images.enotes.com/thumb/0/04/HillsboroughNJarial.JPG/300px-HillsboroughNJarial.JPG&imgrefurl=http://www.enotes.com/topic/Hillsborough

  7. Money Magazine • Just a few years back in 2007 the respected magazine Money Magazine named Hillsborough NJ the 23rd best place to live in the United States! That sure tells you a lot about the diversity of Hillsborough NJ. There’s something for everyone in Hillsborough. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=money+magazine&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1280&bih=887&tbm=isch&tbnid=P_IUGZj3ZvXU6M:&imgrefurl=http

  8. The Duke Estate • This estate is 2,700 acres and is in the northeast quadrant of the town. There are beautiful gardens on this estate along with prosperous farm land. This estate was originally owned by the tobacco and electric energy tycoon James Duke. Also the founder of Duke University. Then later this estate was passed down to his daughter Dorris Duke. Duke estate is one of the only remaining and largest nature preserve areas in the Hillsborough Township. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=duke+estate+hillsborough+nj&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1280&bih=887&tbm=isch&tbnid=9BQsTfu2AQUj6M:&imgrefurl=http://genevaanderson.wordpress.com/tag/unesco/

  9. Main Street • One of the strangest things about Hillsborough is that the road that is considered our main street is the US highway 206. Almost all of the best local restaurants, businesses, and locations are found on this stretch of highway. From 206 you can navigate to anywhere in town. It is smack dab in the middle. This road is constantly packed with cars and you are almost guaranteed to see someone you know while driving down it. If my friends and I have nothing to do we just cruise down 206 knowing we will run into people we know. Google.maps
