  2. Your assignment is to create a food item in clay. You will strive to make it as life-like as possible!

  3. Research by observing the item, “ eating the item” and collecting magazine photos as references. Breakfast! Desserts!

  4. Brainstorm>>> Do sketches of the way it will be presented. If the item needs a container to sit upon, you will need to make that too! Presentation is everything!

  5. Plan how you will glaze your project to enhance its life-like appearance.

  7. Present your project to the class along with a short two minute explanation of your work. Your classmates will be evaluating this project with the following rubric….

  8. a. Idea: Student did plans on paper, which helped to plan a good sculpture. Choice of subject and the arrangement of the overall form are good and show thought and effortb. Craftsmanship: Work is well crafted, unbroken, neat and attractive. c .Glazing: Glaze enhances the piece and adds to the life-like qualityd. Presentation: Student did a good job of presenting the artwork to the class. Student show personal interest and thought in the production of his/her artwork.
