The programme offers a unique learning experience where 20 percent of the total curriculum is based on learning from the field. Learning in the programme is imparted through unique pedagogies, including field immersion, summer internships, and supplementary learning through various skill development workshops. The major themes running across the courses are information technology,
internationalization and business ethics. The curriculum consists of business courses, general management courses and human resource management courses and is designed to prepare a student for a spectrum of career options open to human resource management professionals MBA (Family business and entrepreneurship) The MBA programme in family business and entrepreneurship at the Institute of Management,Nirma University is spread over two academic years. The curriculum of the programme is developed based on in-depth interactions with family businessmen, entrepreneurs and subject experts, and consists of Compulsory & Elective courses. Creating business plans and industrial visits are the core requirements of the programme. Admissions to the MBA (FB and entrepreneurship) programme is done through a three-tier process. Stage 1 consists of an entrance test conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University. Stage 2 consists of a personal interview and communication test (essay test).
