Step One (13-20 minutes) As a group • Discuss your team’s major strengths this term • How did your team change over the course of the term? • What could the team have done to improve? • What one to three (1-3) lessons would you give to other students about team projects? Turn lessons in to instructor.

Step Two: 7 minutes Individually • Write on a piece of paper - • One statement about your role and contributions to the group • One question you want to ask about your role and/or performance in the group • A brief note about others’ strengths and areas of improvement - for constructive feedback - if they want it.

  6. Step Three: 30-45 minutes • In pairs, rounds of 6 minutes each, using effective communication skills • Talk to each member • Discuss roles and contributions • Ask your question • Answer his/her question

  7. Take home assignment • Complete final rating form • Refer to criteria and weighting determined by group. • Consider entire team life • Watch out for perceptual errors. • Be honest, equitable, fair. • Write a memo • Evaluate team effectiveness on three criteria. (individual, team and organizational) • Provide rationale for numerical ratings. See example on web.
