  3. About Joey Joey was born in Middletown, Connecticut on May 24, 1990. Joey began racing stock cars when he was just 6 years old. He continued competing and moving up in the racing world until he joined the Joe Gibbs Racing team in 2005. He had his first Pro Cup Series victory that season at only 15 years old.

  4. Having to wait until he turned 18 years old to make his NASCAR nationwide debut, Joey made it a start to remember. Logano captured the pole at Kentucky Speedway on his way to becoming the youngest winner in Nationwide Series history at 18 years and 21 days on June 14.Joey is bound to be NASCAR’s Rookie of the Year in 2009.
