  2. Alcance • El tipo de alcance de una investigación dependerá de los objetivos del investigador. Para combinar sus elementos en un estudio. • También de la perspectiva del estudio. • Es el resultado de la revisión de literatura.

  3. Alcances • Exploratorios • Descriptivos • Correlacionales • Explicativos

  4. Exploratorios • Investigan problemas poco estudiados • Indagan sobre una perspectiva innovadora • Ayudan a identificar conceptos promisorios • Preparan terreno para nuevos estudios.

  5. Exploratorios descriptivos: • Consideran un fenómeno y sus componentes • Miden conceptos • Definen variables.

  6. Descriptivos • Buscan especificar las propiedades, características y los perfiles de personas, comunidades o cualquier fenómeno que se estudie. • Su valor consiste en dimensionar un fenómeno

  7. Correlacionales • Ofrecen predicciones • Explican la relación entre variables • Cuantifican relaciones entre variables

  8. Explicativos • Determinan causas de fenómenos • Generan sentido de entendimiento • Combinan los elementos en un estudio
