A-G Coursework “Minimum” Requirements • English - 4 years • Mathematics – 3 years * • History and Government - 2 years • Lab Science – 2 years * • Foreign Language – 2 years * • Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA)– 1 year • Elective courses – 1 year * • * an additional year is recommended for UC and highly selective universities Oakmont High School Guidance
