  1. Nathan,Christian,Tyler and Mentor’s Group. Our trip to Placentia, May 2012.

  2. Castle Hill • At castle hill we had a good time we viewed all the forts and we looked at where they dig for old artifacts. Castle hill has a lot of history like it first started of as the French noticed that there were a lot of fish around Placentia so they built a big castle on a hill and that’s why its called castle hill. • They mostly fished for cod fish and they didn’t waste one part of the cod fish they use the meat to eat of course and they use one part of the gut for oil because it has a little bit of oil in it.

  3. The Bridge The Placentia bridge it goes up and down for the boats and it went up again just for us and we also walked over the bridge

  4. At Placentia we saw models who were demonstrating how to fish…

  5. The cannons! • The cannons were cool they weight 4 tons. • BANG!!!!!! :D

  6. The hike • We went so far in the woods and then we finally came back out then we walked back and we had to walk to the church and then we walked to the museum it took along time to get were we are going now I know how it was for the people before they had cars.

  7. It was known for… • Placentia is known for its cod fish. • Note: fake cod fish…

  8. The beach When we went to the beach we collected some beach rocks .

  10. The church At the church we learned that most of the greaves were very old and that’s when the bus came to pick us up.

  11. OUR GROUP • Our group did amazing we took lots of pictures. • Our group worked well together! • :D

  12. The nature • The nature was really nice the place was full of flowers and trees, grass, Rocks, sea weed pretty much every thing that involves nature.
