  4. Example 2:The bead at C weighs 10 lb and bar AB is frictionless. Determine the force T supported by the cord CD and the reaction between bar AB and the bead. A: T = 9.63 lb.

  5. Example 3:Repeat example 1 with point C relocated, as shown. member failure load AB 4 kN tension. AC 4 kN tension. AO 9 kN tension, 5 kN compression.
