Challenges: • My own technology skills • Time (upfront) to develop site • Time (ongoing) to update, facilitate etc. • Overcoming faculty/student resistance • Teaching faculty to incorporate the site into the clinic experience • question of the week • submitting materials/abstracts etc. • quiz • adapting materials and activities

  6. SO I TOOK MY BOWS (actually I dodged objections) AND DECIDED TO PLUNGE AHEAD

  7. I’VE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS

  8. Advantages • Can’t lose anything • Very organized • Saves time & money making handouts • FUN!!!!

  9. Disadvantages • Student’s (and colleague’s) interest & skills • Time • Technological glitches and mismatches (browsers, software etc.)
