Diegetic sound • Diegetic sound is also very important. The first scene is the actor exclaiming “They’re coming”, straight away the audience should have realized that something is wrong.

A little something about Music • Having great camerawork and different angle shot with diegetic sound is not the only thing to think about. Non-Diegetic music is also critical. It can make or break a good film piece. Non-diegetic is the sound that the characters cant hear but the audience can. • They make the audience aware of more things e.g in my film piece, Epidemic, the voice over gave the audience valuable piece of information. • Also it can create suspense and tension, which is what I believe was done effectively in our piece.
Above is a screen shot on the different type of sounds I used on logic Pro. Non- diegetic sounds were all made on logic pro, in fact the ambulance siren were also made here.
The film is all about chaos and what a film without good music. So to create tension and make the film believable I was given the task to come up with great backing track. • Ultrabeat was use to create the heart beat like sound. The use of a heart beat sound was a joint decision because we wanted the film to be accompanied with a track that is showing what the actor is feeling.
Even though we got the diegetic sound of the ambulances, just to make it sound more sharp and clear, we used logic pro siren for it. • Also something called Output was used, which gave the music an eerie sound. This was accompanied with the Silky Strings. It was to give the audience a reason to panic even though they haven't watched the whole film yet.
Sound • There was the use of another non-diegetic sound, which was the voiceover used at the end of the clip, which was accompanied with photos like hospitals signs, various scenes of isolated city Centre e.t.c
