"Fire Quilt" by Mike Field captivates with its intricate use of quadrilaterals, blending squares, rectangles, and diamonds into a stunning visual experience. The only non-quadrilateral present is a hexagon, showcasing Field's unique approach to geometry in art. A Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston, Field holds extensive academic credentials, including a PhD from the University of Warwick. His artistic portfolio features other works like "Enduring Illusions" and "Neural Net," reflecting his innovative integration of mathematical concepts into art.

Quadrilateral Artists MIKE FIELD
Fire Quilt I really liked this picture because he uses a lot of different quadrilaterals. The first layer has squares and rectangles. The layer over top of that has diamonds. The only shape not a quadrilateral is the hexagon.
