Introduction • Frogs and Toads have a lot of things in common, but so many differences too! Can you tell the difference?
Similarities • Even though frogs and toads are much different, they both lay eggs. They hatch in the water. After a while they grow and get front legs, back legs and lungs. Then they leave the water and live on land!
Frogs • Frogs are smooth & have slimy skin. • They have a long skinny bodies. • Frogs lay their eggs in sacks. • Frogs have skinny legs • They leap up in the air.
Toads • Toads have dry bumpy skin • They are short and fat. • Toads lay eggs in streams like lines. • They live on land. • Toads make short hops or walk.
