  3. Ecstasy About the drug and effects • The real name for this stimulant is methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) • Ecstasy has hallucinogens. They can cause you to see or feel things that are not even there. • Ecstasy is usually taken by pill but can also be taken other ways. • Liquid ecstasy is Gamma Hydroxybutyrate. This substance is found in drain cleaner, floor stripper. • It can also destroy alarm signals given out by the body
