  1. Effects Grand Theft Auto V potentially has on people. Grand Theft Auto questionnaire

Demographic • The main demographic of Grand Theft Auto V are Males aged between 16-18, a lot of the audience below the games rating. • Although, only around 75% that took my questionnaire own a console that can be used to play GTA V, and the rest owned things such as PS2’s which cant play the game. • Once again 75% of people who took the questionnaire own, or have played the game. • All of those who own it play it more than 3 times a week at an average.

  3. Effects the game has on society • I asked if people knew about the real life things related to Grand Theft Auto, and all who answered the questonnaire said they knew about the happenings. • Only 25% of people believe it would make them play the game less after hearing about the events. • All people who own the game, said they play it for entertainment, and all said it was addictive. • Most of the audience think it makes them feel slightly empowered in a way.

  4. Effects of GTA5 • From my research it appears that the overall effects of GTA on the 16-18 year old audience that I sampled with a questionnaire are: • Less general social activity, more unsociable behaviour (playing games) • People are aware, but no so much effected of the potential problems GTA brings. • People don’t feel overall empowered from the game only slightly, suggesting it doesn’t cause proper aggression.
