The .GENERATION.Rx project, funded by SAMHSA, is a three-year pilot initiative aimed at preventing prescription drug misuse among youth aged 12-24. In its first year, the project focuses on reducing the perception of risk and harm associated with prescription drugs, particularly in communities like Catoosa, Early, and Gwinnett counties. Key strategies include community readiness assessments, educational activities, partnerships with law enforcement, and public awareness campaigns. Our goal is to equip communities to combat prescription drug misuse through targeted education and innovative outreach.
