  5. What was Roe vs. Wade? • By a vote of 7-2, the U.S. Supreme Court held that until a child in the womb is viable the mother’s desire for an abortion should take precedence over the baby’s right to life.

  6. What was Roe vs. Wade? • the last two or three months the state may protect the unborn. • The court defined her “life or health” to mean her physical, emotional, or psychological health.

  7. According to former Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop, the most common reason for abortion is convenience.

  8. Since God is the creator and sustainer of human life, we should value and protect the lives of all innocent humans.

  20. So what can we do? • We can pray about the situation. • We can vote for pro-life candidates. • We can support the pro-life cause with our money and time.
