He leads what they will be doing (... you are to pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the Lord your God is giving you to possess.)   9. Being a leader takes courage, discipline, and determination. While a great leader can bring great success, it comes at high personal cost.Bishop Josep Rossello

  10. My Responsibility as Your Ministry

  11. Lovingly care for the Christ Church and seek growth in Christ (Heb. 13:17; I Thes. 5:12). Provide teaching and counsel from the Scriptures (Gal. 6:6; I Tim. 5:17-18) that will span the whole counsel of God's Word (Acts 20:27-28). Help in times of need (Acts 2:42-47 & 4:32-35; Jam. 2:14-17). Ensure that the Ministers are godly leaders according to Scriptures (I Tim. 3:1-13 & 5:17-22; Titus 1:5-9; I Pet. 5:1-4). Pray for CCE regularly, particularly when people are sick (Jam. 5:14).

  12. Be on guard against false teachers (Acts 20:28-31). Exercise church discipline when necessary (Matt. 18:15-20; I Cor. 5; Gal. 6:1). Help you become equipped to serve Christ (Eph. 4:11-13). Seek God's will for our church family to the best of my ability as study the Scriptures and follow the Spirit (Acts 20:28; I Peter 5:1-5).Set an example and join to fulfill the duties of church members (1 Cor. 11.1; Phil. 3:17; I Tim. 4:12).

  14. All Christians, as disciples of Christ, must play their full part in its life and witness. That you may fulfil this duty, we call upon you:To follow the example of Christ in home and daily life, and to bear personal witness for the glory of God.To be regular in private prayer and to read and study the Bible carefully, and follow God’s commandmentsTo use the spiritual gifts to build up God’s familyTo worship on Sunday, as a church family, and daily in your lifeTo give and serve on the Church, family and community
