  7. The REQUIRED courses for high school graduation = 80 credits Diploma Verification • CLC 12 ** (30 hours, capstone project, online assignments) • Fine Art/Applied Skill (any level gr 10-12) • Elective Credits (minimum of 16 credits) • Numeracy assessment • Literacy Assessment

  16. SWAG BAGS • String bag or tote bag • Water bottle • Luggage tag • Reusable straw • Sticker sheet put in yearbook • Pop socket – donated by grad parent • Survival kit – items collected/donated by parents

  17. Poinsettia Fundraiser • Nov 1st – 20th • Order online • Pick up plants at school Dec 4th • Gain credits towards GRAD FEE

  18. GRAD ACTIVITIES(where parents help a lot) BIG GRAD ACTIVITIES are: • Fashion Show • Dessert Night • GRAD

  20. FIRST BIG EVENT TO PLAN IS GRAD FASHION SHOWMonday, November 18th

  21. Purpose • First event to kick off GRAD year • Raise money for GRAD • Bring the GRAD class back together as a whole • Have a fun night to remember

  23. THEME BLACK and WHITE VISION 20/20 Show happens 6 weeks from now Parents have traditionally taken responsibility for decorating the foyer leading to the gym

  24. 4 Major Areas where lots of parent help is needed Foyer Decorating – decorate the gym foyer according to the theme (15 hours) Model Chaperone – take students to stores and be responsible for clothes (5 hours) Set Up – be available on the weekend including Friday before the show (7 hours) Take Down – stay after the show until everything is put away (7 hours)

  25. Other smaller time commitment or people needed Advertising – putting up posters in town/ press release for newspaper and radio (3 hours) Finding Grade 8- 11 Parent helpers – convincing your friends who have younger children to help out on the night of the show (4 hours) Concession – plan and purchase food items for sale the night of the show (5 hours)

  26. More Costumes and Props – finding costumes and props to add to the storyline (7 hours) Raffle Baskets – make up gift baskets with donated items (10 hours) 50/50 Draw – cruise the crowd selling tickets before the show and at intermission (3 hours)
