  10. The Social Aspect As a daughter

  11. Allah (swt) says in the Quran “Whenever the news of a female child is announced to any one of them, his face darkens and he chokes with inward gloom. He hides himself from his people because of the bad news he has heard, asking himself whether he should retain her with disgrace or bury her in the dust. Beware! Evil is the Judgment they make about Allah.” [Quran - Chapter:16, Verse: 58-59]

  12. The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said “Whoever has a daughter and does not burry her alive, does not insult her and does not favor his son over her Allah will enter him into Paradise.” (Ahmad)

  13. The Social Aspect As a wife Marriage in Islam is based on mutual peace, love and compassion

  14. Allah (swt) says in the Quran “And of His signs, another one is that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may find comfort with them, and He planted love and kindness in your hearts; surely there are signs in this for those who think about it.” [Quran - Chapter:30, Verse: 21]

  15. Allah (swt) says in the Quran “O believers! It is not lawful for you consider women as a part of your inheritance and retain them against their will in order that you may force them to give up a part of the dowry you have given them, unless they are guilty of proven fornication. Treat them with kindness even if you dislike them; it is quite possible that you dislike something in which Allah has placed much good.” [Quran - Chapter:4, Verse: 19]

  16. The Social Aspect As a mother

  17. Allah (swt) says in the Quran “We have enjoined man concerning his parents - his mother carries him in her womb while suffering weakness upon weakness and then weans him for two years - That’s why We commanded him: "Give thanks to Me and to your parents, and keep in mind that, to Me is your final goal.” [Quran - Chapter:31, Verse: 14]

  18. The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said “Paradise lies in the feet of Mother…” “I command you to be kind to women…”

  19. Islam recognizes women as individuals with specific rights • These Include • The right & duty to obtain education • The right to have their own independent property • The right to work to earn money if they need it or want it • Equality of reward for equal deeds • The right to express their opinion and be heard • The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs • The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice • The right to keep all her own money • The right to get sexual satisfaction from her husband • Custody of their children after divorce • To refuse any marriage that does not please them

  20. Allah (swt) says in the Quran “Oh humankind! Be conscious of your Lord Who created you from a single soul, and out of it created its mate, and out of the two spread countless men and women. Be conscious of God through Whom you demand your mutual rights and honor the wombs; God always watches over you.” [Quran - Chapter:4, Verse: 1]

  21. Men of Quality, Respect women’s Equality

  22. A Dual sex society rather than a Unisex society Western Idea of equality of sexes (Unisex society) In Islam, men and women are equal but different (Dual Sex Society) Created differently Abilities differ Roles and duties differ

  23. Difference between Hijab & No Hijab

  24. Allah (swt) says in the Quran "O Prophet, enjoin your wives and daughters and the women of the Muslims to draw their outer-garments close round them; it is expected that they will be recognized, and thus not molested..."  [Quran - Chapter:33, Verse: 59]

  25. Advantages of Hijab People generally respect women with hijab and try to help them whenever they ask You can protect yourself from unnecessary attention from males, especially when going for shopping or in crowded areas Bad guys usually don't try to tease you Cosmetically, hijab protects our skin and hair from side effects of sun exposure, so better skin, better hair, no need to spend extra money on sun blocks and hair conditioners Some times we just keep our self from doing something wrong (despite the strong urge to do) just because it will not match our appearance. Our Iman strengthens as people expect us to be more religious than normal girls who don't wear hijab, so it causes stimulus to keep us on right track As we know that our whole body plus face and hair are covered so we don't spend too much time on them before going somewhere. MORE TIME SAVED!!! As you wear hijab so you have to dress modestly and if you cover yourself with abaya or gown, then less money and time spent on designing and buying of your clothes. MONEY SAVED!!! Girls will become less conscious of there appearance and physique in co-gatherings, so it also promotes confidence in personality

  26. Let us join together to spread peace in the world
