  1. Canada’s New Immigration System From November 2016Express Entry is Canada’s new immigration case management system. Express Entry is NOT a new immigration program; all previous immigrations programs and their criteria to apply still apply, including: S 1) Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) 2) Canadian Experience Class (CEC) 3) Federal Skilled Trades program (FSTP) Express Entry Migration to Canada 

  2. Latest Changes in Express Entry System • Latest Changes in Express Entry System The Express Entry System is the most popular immigration program of Canada. However, the IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) has made some key changes in the system which will be applicable w.e.f. November 19, 2016.

  3. Express entry a two stage process • Express Entry a 2 Stage process S Express Entry is a 2 stage process : Stage 1) Create a profile for selection Stage 2) Apply for immigration (PR) to Canada AFTER being selected.

  5. Express Entry: Stage 2  • You will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) once selected. S Submit your application for immigration (PR) with the ITA. All documentation and criteria must be met within 60 days.

  6. Time increased for submitting Visa Application • Time increased for submitting Visa Application after ITA The time for submitting the permanent residency in canadaapplication on receipt of ITA (invitation to apply) has been increased to 90 days by IRCC.
