What Exactly is a 'Prezi'? • A Prezi is an interactive presentation format using frames and movement • It can be used in the classroom to introduce new information and for students to present projects Tish’s First Prezi
Some Features of Prezi • One canvas with all the information • Allows the presenter to move in any direction, not just linear • Allows the incorporation of not just text and pictures, but videos, images, and sounds into one presentation • Can be edited by up to 10 persons simultaneously

Erica’s First Prezi • I created my first Prezi for my students to review the skills they needed to pass our states mandated test, iLEAP. • The Prezi allow each student to work through the information at their own pace. • It was also very exciting for them to use the new program. Prezi provided a lot of movement so the children didn’t get board with the exercise.
Rose’s First Prezi • Students were taught the concept of budgeting, and them placed in groups of three to represent their idea of budgeting in prezi. • Each child worked from a different location on a particular section of the prezi. • Cash Inflow Cash Outflow
Tips and Tricks for Classroom Usage • Become proficient in using Prezibefore assigning a project to kids. • Have students sign-up at home or before you go to the lab. • Provide adequate lab time at school. • Create a rubric in advance. • Explicitly teach kids how to use it.
