Hey there! I’m visiting Knoxville, TN for the Academic Games National Tournament. I came with Mr. Holestein, Mrs. Curley, Aryn, Marie, McKinzie, Mavis, Janee, Kene, Alexis, Hannah, Kennedy, Vivian, Joshua, Kenyae, Derion and Amanath. We heard of this great attraction called Dollywood Amusement Park located in Pigeon Forge, TN in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, so we stopped by. It has many rides (some similar to Cedar Point) such as the Wild Eagle and its popular attraction, The Firechaser Express which is a backwards moving Rollercoaster! I had a great time on the Smoky Mountain River Rampage with Aryn, Marie, McKinzie, Mavis and Kenyae! We accidentally left Amanath behind because it was only a 6-seater ride. It’s a water ride where you ride on an intertube down the River. I also had a great time on their ride called The Mountain SlideWinder, which is a Giant Slide (with little water) where you have to climb to the top of a Mountain to get on it! Then you ride a boat-like raft with up to five other people (Aryn, Kenaye, Amanath and I) to get down (by the time you get up there, you wouldn’t want to chicken out because it’s a LONG way to the bottom!). I’m having an awesome time! You should really stop by! I want to go there again (but next year we’re going to Disney World!). Well hope you go and have a great time! See you later! 2700 Dollywood Parks Blvd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
I chose Dollywood Amusement Park to write about because I really had fun when I went there and I would like to tell othe people about my experience. It was also a recent trip and what boosted the choice was that it was my first National Tournament that I’ve ever been to since I was in Academic Games (4 years). It’s kind of hard to get to Nationals too! If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Disney World because I have never been there. I heard that it’s a popular amusement park and I’m also a Disney Fan. Luckily, next year at the Nationals, we’re going to Orlando, FL, so my next choice would be Disney land or Hawii.
