  3. Definition of Faults :- Faults may be defined as ‘when the crustal rocks are displaced along the plane of fracture this movement is called as ‘faulting’ • Faulting is taking place through :- • Tensional Forces, • Compressional Forces • ii) Depressional Forces

  4. Types of Faults :- • There are three major types of faults such as follows; • Normal Faults • Reverse Faults • Transformed Faults
