  9. Teachers discipline students.

  10. Teachers use and operate the equipment and devices in class

  11. Teachers reveal personal details about their lives to students.

  12. The classroom is a noisy, busy place.

  13. Learners are usually arranged in desks, in rows.

  14. Learners make mistakes which teachers correct.

  15. Learners compete to answer questions and for the teacher’s response.

  16. Learners stand up when they answer or respond in class.

  17. Learners use a textbook which guides the class.

  18. Learners respect the teacher’s knowledge and experience.

  19. Learners collaborate with each other to finish exercises, answer questions.

  20. Learners do homework which the teacher corrects.

  21. Learners reveal personal details about themselves in class.

  22. Learners obey, the teacher orders and controls the class.

  25. What does it MEAN? There is no play book underlying teaching practice. Only what happens in the classroom and how we respond to it. TEACHING IS AN ART!
