  2. What is reporting ? Reporting is : • Activity that leads to reports • Statement describing in detail an event, situation, or the like, usually as the result of observation inquiry. What is the function of reporting ? • To communicate the result of the experiments • Inviting others to perform experiments to verify or disprove the results.

  3. Using english to report Kinds of action in scientific report : To corite a scientific report, we used past tense • 1. A completed action • These action have taken place a long time ago and are completed. • 2. An uncompleted action • This is an action that has taken place over a period of time,is taking place now and will probably continue into the future. • 3. An action completed before a given past time.

  4. Notes : When reporting, remember the following : 1. Adverbs of time and frequently (such as ofter and usually) are usually used with the present perfect tense. 2. The continuous past tense are included above for reference.
