  2. Biome Poster Project? • YOU work for a travel agency and you are trying to “SELL” people on visiting a terrestrial biome. • The agency has assigned each of you to produce a poster as part of an ad campaign. • Your job is to explain why someone should visit your assigned biome.

  3. Why would we want to travel to a Biome? • Sight seeing • Sport activities • Nature studies • Peace and quiet

  4. What would we see in the biome? • Abiotic –physical land features • Biotic—plants and animals

  5. What would help to “sell” your biome? • Weather • Activities • Inviting picture(s)

  6. So what is needed on the travel poster? • Picture (Inviting) • Description including where biome is located in the world • Weather conditions • Abiotic and Biotic features • Physical land features • Activities that can be done in the biome

  7. Finally • Start with your text book • Research both the internet and library for information. • It is expected that you have more than just what is in the textbook. • This is a POSTER. . . . . • IT MUST BE BIGGER THAN A SHEET OF PAPER.
