In this educational session, we reflect on how we acquire knowledge and evaluate its accuracy. Students will explore their current understanding of the Cherokee Indians and build their familiarity through reading "The Education of Little Tree." Throughout the reading, students will track characters, main events, and insights gained about Cherokee culture. Additionally, they will engage in an essay boot camp to articulate their understanding of courage in relation to various texts. This interactive approach fosters critical thinking and connects literature with cultural knowledge.
