Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (AAI) solutions from EOSC-hub Federated AAI for Service Providers • Offloads the burden of running AAI solutions • AAI run by dedicated security experts • AARC BPA ‘Proxy model’ allows for scalability (multiple SPs and IdPs) AAI Deployment Ready Product • IAM Deployable as part of your infrastructure • Integratable with other AAI solutions Credential Translation Service for Service Providers • Allows OIDC to be translated to X509 for users • Legacy X509 application don’t have to be changed EUDAT EGI Check In IAM
Helpdesk as a Service XGUS Helpdesk • Consistent single front-end routable to multiple service providers • First line support which triages to second-line support • Mature solution based on Remedy Onboarded services may provide support via: • Email address to support person/people OR run their own helpdesk Possibility for onboarded services to become supporters within XGUS • Full integration with XGUS – no need to run own helpdesk
Regarding Entry partnership level • Consistent high level of service delivery - an important driver of EOSC-hub • Entry Level level services may: • have a less mature SMS and would like to develop it along with project participation • have a more mature SMS but be content with lower level of integration • (either way the SMS is out of scope from the purpose of onboarding) • Entry Level services may: • not have any SLA defined. We can support it on defining an EOSC-hub ‘default’ SLA for new customers within EOSC-hub • OR • already offer SLAs to its customers. Such SLAs are used for new customers within EOSC-hub
Entry level of partnership • Who is it aimed at? • Any service provider, anywhere! Academic, domain specific, SME, ... • Benefits? • Exposure to new users via advertising through EOSC • One-stop shop for service discovery, order management and helpdesk • First step for service integration with other EOSC-hub services • Exposure to EOSC-hub Operations coordination via Service Provider Forum and IT Security expertise within the project • What’s needed? • Production ready service, at least TRL7 • Description of service • Contact for support and orders • Security contact
Standard Level of partnership • Who is it aimed at? • Service Providers wanting closer level of participation with EOSC • Benefits? Same as Entry Level plus: • Assistance with integration of EOSC-hub supporting services (e.g. AAI, helpdesk) • Support with FAIR and technical interoperability guidelines • Get an EOSC conformant label declaring conformance to EOSC • Membership of Service Management Board (SMB) and providing input in evolving EOSC-hub operations and policies • Integration with EOSC-hub service management processes • What’s needed? Same as Entry Level plus: • Mature Service Management System, already meeting FitSM requirements* • Working to integrate with EOSC-hub supporting services (e.g. AAI, helpdesk)
High Level of partnership • Who is it aimed at? • Service Providers wanting the closest level of participation with EOSC • Benefits? Same as Entry and Standard Levels plus: • Maximum service management harmonization with EOSC-hub • Get an EOSC integrated label • Integration with SLAs, incident response, accounting, SLA and report management • What’s needed? Same as Entry and Standard Levels plus: • Already integrated with EOSC-hub supporting services (e.g. AAI, helpdesk) • Willingness to follow EOSC-hub service management processes, inc. complying with minimum response times for incidents, service orders • Willingness to adopt EOSC AUP
