  2. Going Deep Do you have a game plan for life – a master plan that lines up with the Master’s plan? Or are you bopping along life’s highway without a map or a destination? If you have no idea of where you want to go, any road will get you there. Want to attain success? Consult the Advisor and start planning now!

Mapping Out Your Course Make your goals specific: Precise planning produces results Make your goals challenging but achievable: Will motivate you Write down your goals: Paper is cheap and your future is worth it Often review your goals: Keeps you focused; if no time to review…turn off the TV or the laptop Make your goals measureable: Make your goals time bound: To measure progress Consider sharing your dreams If things change, adjust your goals Be persistent

  6. Recap If you desire to be a winner in life, you need a solid game plan but you must entrust the final outcome to God. Plan thoroughly and thoughtfully, work hard and wait patiently. Remember that God too is at work. Playing on God’s team is definitely a winning strategy.

Goals: • Specific: Know precisely where you want to go • Measureable: Be able to measure your success • Action – Oriented: Break your plan into specific phases, steps • Realistic: Achievable goals provide incentive, unrealistic, pie in the sky goals do not • Timely: Set deadlines and stick to them
