  1. Diesel fuel is a great alternative to regular fuel because it is eco friendly. However there is a shortage in diesel and the use of regular gasoline is resulting in global climate change.

  2. Many use off road diesel because it is inexpensive, however it is illegal because of the harmful fumes it releases. A heavy fine is required if you are caught using off road diesel.

  3. Many environmentalist choose to buy hybrid vehicles or diesel vehicles to help the planet, but this is depleting the diesel supply even more so. This This is BMW’s new diesel car. It is eco friendly as well as sporty. With 356 horse power, it packs a mean punch.

  4. Many who aren’t purchasing hybrid vehicles are doing what’s called “going green”. They are getting a diesel engine inserted in their car and using vegetable oil as fuel. Vegetable oil can be used as diesel just as it is, without being converted to biodiesel. Left over oil from fast food restaurants will work, even the oil you use in your own home will work, and is less expensive than gasoline.

  5. Vegetable oil is an alternative fuel for diesel engines and for heating oil burners. For engines designed to burn diesel fuel, the viscosity of vegetable oil must be lowered to allow for proper atomization of the fuel, otherwise incomplete combustion and carbon build up will ultimately damage the engine. Many enthusiasts refer to vegetable oil used as fuel as waste vegetable oil (WVO) if it is oil that was discarded from a restaurant or straight vegetable oil (SVO) or pure plant oil (PPO) to distinguish it from biodiesel.
