  4. Maribor’s mountains Tourism and Sports • Well known recreational sport centres: Bolfenk, Bellevue, Areh, Three Kings, pond-farming house Kope and Rogla. • In winter they are mostly used as ski resorts. • In spring and summer for long walks or hiking.

  5. At the ski stadium, which descends to the foot of Pohorje, is also a place for the women's World Cup skiing called Golden Fox. The Target arena is also known as a Snow beach.

  6. Grapevine • It is about 440 years old and still grows in the central part of Maribor. • A trunk with a diameter of 25 cm and two metres high. The largest horizontal branches, which are positioned on a gold coin, reach the length of 15 m.

  7. In 2004, it was entered in the Guinness Book of World Records. • Distinguished by the rich growth of rich fertility, resistance to diseases and long life.

  10. Places for going out Cinema KOLOSEJ • This cinema is one of the big cinemas in Maribor. • A lot of teenagers and adults visit it at the end of the weekend.
