  10. Non-negotiables for RtI in KCSD • Provide differentiated instruction in core curriculum (Tier I) • Administer universal screening (MAP) 3 times per year. • Monitor fidelity of implementation • Implement research-based, multi-tiered intervention/instruction in reading, math, and behavior.

  11. Non-negotiables for RtI in KCSD • Administer on-going assessment to monitor student progress at least weekly • Meet bi-weekly in collaborative teams, use a problem-solving approach to make data-based decisions, and communicate the plan to appropriate personnel.
