The ABC Waters Programme aims to promote sustainable rainwater management and enhance our urban waterways. In 2010, Phase 1 of the Geylang River Project was initiated, focusing on the development of rest shelters and enhanced bank treatment along the canal wall. This project is designed to improve the water quality, aesthetic appeal, and overall biodiversity of the area, providing residents and visitors with a pleasant, green space for recreation and relaxation while restoring the natural balance of the river ecosystem.
