EIAST has made up of a core team of UAE scientists and experts who are working to position the nation as a global leader in the field of science and technology through the development of new expertise and Intellectual Property. In 2009, EIAST launched Dubai government’s first fully owned satellite DubaiSat-1. Followed by a successful launch of DubaiSat-2 in 2013.
