  2. Some technical information • Power Over Ethernet (POE) with Battery Backup. • The server is located on campus, and the devices will send data over secured network VLANs. • TCDs have onboard memory.

  3. Next Steps • We request you provide contact information for the buildings. • KU IT Staff will begin site visits soon. • Technicians will install approximately 100 TCDs by July 2012. • Aside from testing, the TCDs will not be used to collet time until the HR Pay Upgrade is complete. • Technicians will install approximately 20 TCDs in the Fall.
