OYSHP Formation • 1994 – Governor Barbara Roberts releases plan to STOP (Sex Teens & Oregon’s Plan) Teen Pregnancy • 1997 – Governor Kitzhaber releases Teen Pregnancy Prevention Oregon Action Agenda • Updated 2000 and 2002 • 2003 - Oregon Teen Pregnancy Task Force, Planned Parenthoods, DHS, ODE, OCCF begin meeting together. • 2005 – At the request of Governor Kulongowski, development of the next teen pregnancy prevention plan begins in earnest.

  7. OYSHP Accomplishments • Released the plan! • Shared information about Oregon’s work in several nationwide conferences. • Participate in WISE grant activities. • Coordinated applications from partners throughout the state for federal teen pregnancy prevention dollars.
