    3. Child Protection and Toy Safety Act This act became effective January 1, 1995 and was made in order to better warn people about toys and games that could possibly be harmful to children. The Responsibilities that the consumer might have are to read the labels that must be provided on the toys and games. Without actually paying attention to the labels this act would be irrelevant.
