New Industries • Inter-related activities and services interdependent industries. • Industries without chimneys. “Clean, fast growing and profitable” • Relatively low requirements in capital investment. • Activities intensive in talent, inspiration, artistic sensibility, creativity and Culture.

Current Situation in Ibero America Analysis of weak and strong points Weak Points: • Insufficient human resources: specialists and users. • Scarce presence of Spanish, Portuguese and other local languages in the global network infrastructure. • Low content production. Imports dependence. • A low proportion of users. • Low teledensity, scarcity in computers, lower infodensity • High access prices. • Very low geographical covering. • Very limited WB services.

Current Situation in Ibero America Analysis of weak and strong points Strong Points: • Nations and peoples very rich in values, artistical expressions, Civilization and Culture. • A global potential market of nearly 600 millions. • A tradition of craftmanship and fine Arts production in every Ibero-American country. • A real improvement in telecommunications and IT. • A sense of very strong and eternal ties among our national communities.

Measures for Evolution 2/2 • To promote the rise of new national specialized companies in each country. • To generate the convenient regulatory actions for Computer, IT, entertaintment industries and telecommunications operators. • To open the governmental markets. • To include multimedia and content creation activities in every e-Country program. • To organize a yearly Ibero-American event.
