Methylation Patterns of Key Genes in Cancer: RASSF1, SFRP1, and CHRM3 Analysis
DESCRIPTION
This study investigates the methylation status of critical genes, including RASSF1, SFRP1, PRRT1, CHST11, and CHRM3, to understand their role in cancer. Our analysis reveals significant methylation frequencies, identifying a 70% methylation rate for RASSF1, 81% for SFRP1, and 66% for both CHST11 and CHRM3. By utilizing array-based SBS techniques, our findings suggest that aberrant methylation of these genes may contribute to tumorigenesis and serve as potential biomarkers for early cancer detection.
