The University of Western Australia (UWA) is pioneering an innovative approach to education with its new course structure, launched in 2012. This initiative aims to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world and prepare graduates for multiple careers. The new framework enhances student choice, flexibility, and experience while focusing on developing essential skills. UWA offers five undergraduate degrees, including Arts, Commerce, Design, Science, and Philosophy (Honours), all within a coherent, flexible structure enabling easier transitions and broader knowledge applications.

The world is changing, and so is UWA • Leading universities around the world are restructuring their courses • Most graduates will have multiple careers, and need a wide range of knowledge and skills • After consulting widely, UWA decided upon a new course structure for the benefit of future students and the wider community New courses 2012 | Knowledge for a changing world
