2. NSF RCR Training Within one calendar month of being paid (i.e., before the employee receives a second paycheck from a NSF research grant account, departmental Business Managers or their designees must verify that the individual has completed mandated Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR) training. Employees performing any paid work on an NSF-funded research project have 30 days from the time they start work to complete required CITI RCR training.
